Are your doctors real, licensed physicians?
Yes. Every consultation is conducted by a physician licensed to practice medicine in Japan, registered with the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
Do I need Japanese health insurance?
No. Our ¥33,000 flat fee is paid directly and does not require Japanese national health insurance.
What do I need to bring?
Just your passport, a smartphone with a camera, and a Wi-Fi or data connection for the video call.
How do I get my medicine?
After your consultation, we send your prescription electronically to a pharmacy near where you're staying. You pay the pharmacy directly for the medication.
What if I need to see someone in person?
If your doctor determines that your condition needs an in-person examination, imaging, or lab work, they will tell you and direct you to appropriate in-person care.
What is not covered?
We cannot prescribe controlled substances, and we cannot diagnose conditions that require a physical examination, imaging, or lab tests. This service is not for emergencies — for those, call 119.
